Our typical system that we apply is a breathable membrane that is fixed on top of the rafters or main roof structure. Then pressure treated timber battens are secured on top of the breathable membrane. The clay tiles are then nailed to the pressure treated batten to form the final stage in waterproofing your roof. The tiles at the end of your roof are sealed with cement which is known as pointing.
